My neighborhood in a suburb of Seattle got more than its fair share
of snow and ice. The CR-V did quite well on my two little
journeys. I have a 2003 EX w/AT.

First journey 0545 Friday, about 4" snow, wet slush, I turned O/D off
and went down 5% grade, in 2nd gear at about 5mph. No problems.

Second journey 1530 Saturday, 2" snow and ice, along with patches of
black ice. Just drove the car to the main road in 1st or 2nd gear
with the O/D off.

Admit to driving conservatively and the car performed well on turns
and navigating up and down the hill. No stalls, slips or slides.
Though I did meet one patch of black ice which I was able to adjust
quickly and safely.

I think the car is a keeper! But tomorrow I am staying home...
