These guys are messed up. My dealer says the car will be ready
Monday 11/19, five days late. Honda says 2-3 weeks.

BE CAREFUL!!!
The seatbelt tensioner (what holds you in during a short stop or
accident) is bad.

Honda doesn't even call it a recall, and nowhere is there infor.
Call Honda and they'll tell you. THEY CALL IT A 'HALT.' What this
means is that you can't even test drive the vehicle. NONE are being
released.

In my opinion, a bullshit, sloppy mistake. I just hope that when I
get my beautiful vehicle (it does look great), that there are no
other problems. I did buy the ripoff extended 7yr/100,000 mile
warranty, but feel taken by the dealer since there was nothing about
the price IN WRITING.

BE CAREFUL!!! My emotions got to me, however I'm hoping the best -
it is a Honda!

i also did get the extended warranty coz i know i'll be putting a lot of
miles. and so far, i did get the benefit of the extended warranty.
anytime they need to keep your crv for over a day, they will provide you
with a rental. but it doesnt mean my crv breaks down a lot. its just
some minor stuff like a "ping" right after i turned off my v. they didnt
find anything wrong and so far after more than 70k miles, it didnt stop
my v from having fun and taking me to and from work. i now have 136k
miles and still loving it and still going light off roading in the
mountains. regarding the "halt", at least they are doing something
about it now and not wait for a "few" fatalities like what happened to
the firestone tires on ford. no matter what they call it, i'm glad
they're doing something about it. just be patient, your v wont go
anywhere. you'll be rewarded soon with a dependable car you can count
on.
