I'm interested in hearing CR-V owners' experiences towing trailers. I'm
considering a CR-V but sometimes tow a 920 lb trailer. It has a large, long
box on it, so a lot of wind drag. Please mention whether your experience
was on hilly or flat terrain and how much load you had inside the car.
Thanks.

No problems on occasional usage. I have a trailer with comparable weight and fishing hunting equipment with one dog and 2 adults on hilly roads and it is ok. I would not drive with all this constantly be<cause the CR-V becomes slughish but a few times a year is very acceptable.

What hitch would you recommend for the CRV for this kind of job.  Thanks.
