Yeah, me too. I did see mention of a 2 inch lift somewhere on hondasuv.com
once but nothing more.

Raises the vehicle up higher from the ground so I don't beat up my skid

Cant you put in bigger size tyres and achieve the
same
What is benefit of using this kit

You can but you would have to get 4 inch higher tires (2 inches on top and 2 on bottom) and the poor CR-V would probably not be able to turn them at a very efficient rate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
 
The larger tires will also cause your speedometer to bee off a whole lot and put a lot of stress on your drivetrain.

I've a lot of lift spring makers and was told that they have no plans of
making lift springs for the CRV. I saw a CRV here that was given a 2-3 inch
lift. He mentioned about putting spacers on the struts.

I placed bigger tires which gave my CRV a 1 inch lift although bigger tires
has its drawback in acceleration and fuel economy but it does make a CRV
loook much better.
