I have an S2000 with 5000 miles on it. The clutch has always engaged when the pedal was about 1/2 the way out. I do not think it was ever adjusted properly. This is the first sports car I have owned and I did'nt realize it should be more responsive closer to the floor. I started to smell a burning smell after going over 6000rpm.My clutch started slipping and I took it in. The dealership will not pay. They say that it is not covered under the warranty. They want $1000! Can anyone give me advice?
