Hi, can you help me with clearing my corners on my 99 EL? I had a tutorial from someone's site, I tried it, with a hairdryer, all it did was it made the selant a little softer, I was using a flat screwdriver, after 30 minutes of messing, I go no results, I only messed the plastic a litle caz I was forcing the screwdriver a lot, coul't even get a little gap, could't even pass the screwdriver inside of the assembly, I was only getting like 1-2cm inside. Frustrated, I sent it all to hell and put my light back, now it's just looks messed a little and that's all. Many people say it's not hard.....help me, what I was doing wrong? Maybe I was tring to open it in the wrong place? Could someone get me a picture of where exactly should put the screwdriver? Any help willl be greeat, otherwise, I'll go to some local shop......thing is, I want to do it myself. Thanks!

Just keep goin at it.... takes a lot of heating (especially with hairdryer). try heating in a concentrated area and jab the driver into the one place..   don't be afraid to use force~~ ^^   I did mine with a hairdryer as well and it worked fine... takes a while~~ be patient   let me know how it goes~~   dc
