Has anyone put clear tail lights or euro style rear lights on their ELs? A salesman told me he saw an EL with clear lights but I haven't never found any.

Will, Where are you? I'm in Orange County, CA. I have a Blue 1997 3.2TL. I've seen Inspire tailights on ebay before. Some guy in Japan sells them and usually gets aroung $300+s/h. You can clear the lens, but it's not pretty. I suppose the method is the same as with the Vigor. -Remove the lights -Use a Dremel (smallest bit) to separate the sections (around the edge of the lens). -Remove amber part (should just pop out). -Use GOOP Automotive sealant or epoxy to re-seal the lens to the housing. -Install in car. See: http://acuravigorclub.com/ http://pw2.netcom.com/~gentile/Vigor/FAQs3.htm#clearcorners

i suggest you get the Inspire tail. Even if you can clear the yellow one, it is a big job and you need a lot of clamp to hold it down when you reseal the light. It must be water tight or else you get water evaporate inside the housing, or worst water in there and might short something.
