I have City DSi 2006. Exactly I bought at September 2006. This week (31March2008), the engine totally and suddently cannot be started. Off course, then I fit a new accu/batteray. It is suprising me, because of it is HONDA and we always do routine check in their official workshop. Does anyone know it is normal for HONDA stuff to be blackout before 2 years old operation? Thanks.

Of course it isn't normal. Parts do break, but they tend to be easy to replace.

Is there a check engine light? If so the computer knows something is wrong and you should read the code with a scantool. In my experience this often makes diagnosis trivial.

I am very surprised that your car you bought in 2006 isn't working properly. That is something very unexplainable to me. Your car practically brand new. Is there a "check engine" light or anything else showing? There has to a reason for it. Hopefully you can come back and let us know what happened.

That is one weird thing to happen... Maybe, you can check the light... See what was the cause...

I read his post again about not starting. He is located in Indonesia, so perhaps something else like humidity, water, or temperatures has something to do with it. When you're in a foreign country things in the environment are completely different. When I visited India I couldn't believe how hot it was in May. That can have an effect on a car. Indonesia is in between China and Australia.
