joDEM,

If it's only the light, yes you can drive... If it starts to "regulate" the RPMs, don't drive it. Have you checked what codes the OBD is throwing ? Most, AutoZones will check the codes for free, that is if there not really buzy ! Be sure to write down ALL the codes.

thanks for the heads-up on the Auto Zone free obd11 read. The code read is PO135 indicating the front exhaust gas oxygen sensor. 200 hundred bucks fot their bosch oe replacement. 30 bucks more for a special tool to remove it. Anyone with experience on O2 sensor replacement?

O2 sensor....I had a lot of experience with those on my civic, probably the same for The CRV...

What you need to do, is a quick search on ebay for an O2 spacer. This will move the sensor back out of the flow and should eliminate the light coming back on ( after you have reset the system with an OBD2 gizmo)...or you can do the same thing with a couple of washers...

The 30 dollar tool is just a notched socket so the wire has some place to go when you are taking out the old sensor....I just used an open ended wrench

If, by chance you have to get a sensor, do a search on the NGK website

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/part_finder/c...suv/default.asp

...and order the part far cheaper at Summit Racing...

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...k=KeywordSearch

Now, according to my 2006 CRV Service manual, PO135 is Air Fuel ratio (A/F) Sensor (Sensor 1) Heater Circuit malfunction
...and there are troubleshooting methods if you have a generic scantool gizmo....
