I've had a radio failure in the "non-CR-V" portion of my small fleet of cars, so
I want to replace the head unit in the CR-V,
pushing the Honda factory radio down to the other car.

I'll be getting an improved replacement from the good folks at Crutchfield, but
want to know how I go about physically getting to
the factory radio to remove it.

Do I have to take most of the dashboard apart to do this?

A second question: I've been told that the remote door lock feature is somehow
hooked into the factory radio. If this is a concern,
how do I get around it?

Crutchfield should send you complete instructions for removal of the old
radio and installaion of your new one.

with the factory radio.

Has anybody ever installed a Polar Bear brand Push bar to their CR-V?
I can't seem to find any information on this brand but it seems good, no
drilling or modifications and looks a lot like the WAAG. I can get this one
easily at $769 cdn. Any comments.

P.S. I can also get Black PIAA 520 for $294 would you all consider that a
decent price?
