I've had a radio failure in the "non-CR-V" portion of my small fleet of cars, so I want to replace the head unit in the CR-V, pushing the Honda factory radio down to the other car.
I'll be getting an improved replacement from the good folks at Crutchfield, but want to know how I go about physically getting to the factory radio to remove it.
Do I have to take most of the dashboard apart to do this?
A second question: I've been told that the remote door lock feature is somehow hooked into the factory radio. If this is a concern, how do I get around it?
Thanks to all.
