Like most Japanese "made" vehicles I wouldn't expect the 2001 CR-V being
available until early to mid 2001.
Of course, they could decide to make the 2001 CR-V at a "new" plant in
Alabama but don't "hold your breath" for an early release from there. The
"new" BMW sport utility is being made in Spartanburg, South Carolina (HOME
OF THE Z3), competition from Honda in Alabama? THE PREVIOUS STATEMENTS ARE
"ONLY" MY PERSONAL GUESSES!
A 6-cylinder would be nice but gas will continue to be worsening problem in
years to come, so I'll stick with a 4-cylinder 5-speed CR-V EX myself.
In the mean time, I'll continue working on a recent purchase of a 1993
Nissan 240SX SE/LE convertible. Hope to add it to my site in a few weeks.
