Hi Everyone,
I am new too all these, but here is my question! I recently have my
1.6EL air in-take modifid with something that looks like the K&N FIPK
Fuel Injection Performance Kits.
Question is, someone said 2 things to me, which I am not sure if it
is true!? Can someone tell me Yes/No and why!?
1> Modify the in take, w/o the exhaust would decrease performance,
because there is too much air going in, while the exhaust doesn't
have the room to allow the air to comes back out.
2> For the same reason, it is also harmful to the engine itself,
since too much air go in, but while the OEM exhaust is too
restrictive.
PS: Wouldn't the Fuel injection computer, would automatically adjust
itself when extra air-flow is available, but also keep the exhaust
restriction into calculation.??
