Not sure if it was a coincidence or not, since the time before the eject was slow, but did I cause this, it was on disc 4 and I wanted to eject disc 3, i selected disc 3 but I may have hit eject too soon, since then nothing will play or eject, Disc 3 sits there for about 15 seconds trying to eject but quits after.

Is there any way to resolve this before taking it somewhere to have it all taken apart or did I screw up?

At this point, the only real solution is to have it serviced by a repair shop. At the very least, they will be able to get the disc out. Call around to Electronics repair shops as they will likely be SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive than the dealership (and faster....).

If you have not had this issue fixed yet:

I had a similar problem where discs that I burned from iTunes would get get stuck in my CD drive. Only burned discs, not factory (or purchased) discs, which is weird...anyway, I fixed this by removing the cd drive myself and opening it up for manual removal.
There is one screw behind the ashtray and then the trim should be free to pull out. On my 2001 Passport, there was only 4 screws holding the CD player in place. I removed these and pulled the unit out a little, with all the wires still connected in the back. I opened the top of the CD drive box and removed the CD's. Then I closed everything back up, screwed it all back together, and it all still worked.

I don't know if you would be comfortable doing this yourself, but it is something a service shop would do also.
