Speaking of this subject, can anyone tell me if it's possible to make a bed out of the seats in the 2002 model?  I know about the tumble forward thing, but I'm tall, and so that doesn't leave me enough room to sleep.  I think I remember reading that the rear seats are supposed to recline at a 45 degree angle, but is there some magic thing you can do after that to make them go flat, the way I've heard they did in the pre-2002 models?  Has anyone tried this?

They do not go flat. The rears recline to about 45 deg, and he
fronts will recline flat and even with the back seats if you take teh
head rests off.
This makes a decent but not perfect bed.

I heard the seats on the 2000 and 2001 EX's would fold flat. It was
listed in one of the brochures as one of the advantages of the EX over the
LX.

I don't know about how the 2002 works, but the 1998 EX had a lever on
the rear seat bottom which allowed the rear seat back to recline a
bit flatter. Here's a web page with some pictures:

Hi Karl:

Visited your website and noticed installation instructions for the CR-V door
edge guards.

You refer to the trimming of "hem sealant". Should it have come with the kit
as it isn't in mine. Can you give me a brand/part number for this MAGICAL
material??

Am I correct in assuming that the "touch-up" paint is only used to paint the
exposed sealant on the inside of the door if one is very concerned about the
white seam showing and NOT because you break the paint during the
installation of the edge guards?

Thank you,
AB
