Has anyone installed a Bra or Lexan debris deflector on their CR-V, if so how do you like the performance?  I haven't seen ANY installed in my area.  What are the best brands to use?  Do they affect the way the CR-V drives?

Thanks,

I have a generic deflector.  Looks very cool on blue.

I did some
research in the forums and found that the Bene-Vento was the most
recommended.  I ordered one from JJ
Products (www.jjproducts.net $79) and
installed it in about 45 Minutes.
The instructions were a bit confusing because the pictures didn’t match my
2000 SE.  It went on fine after
some tinkering.  It looks real
sharp!  It is tight and form fitting,
real stable with negligible wind noise.
My only concern is that it uses rubber stoppers that affix to the
paint!  They use a special 3M adhesive
made specifically for this purpose that supposedly will come off with no damage
to the paint.  Only time will tell,
not that I will be removing it any time soon.  The other thing to keep in mind is that you cannot get
underneath it to wax or wash without removing it (I don’t recommend doing this
often).  I think the extra
protection it gives you from rocks and bugs outweigh the negatives.  Besides it looks cool, much better than
the bra in my opinion!
