Hi all,

I have the OEM luggage rack and one OEM/Thule bike rack. I've noticed that
when I attach my bike, it leans to the side. Specifically, the rack is over
the drivers side of the car, and when I attach the bike, the top of the bike
leans out away from the car. I believe it is due to the "bowing" of the
center luggage rack bars. Has anyone else seen this? Were the racks
installed inproperly?

Man alive! I had the same problem with my installation. And, yes, it
is the bowing of the luggage rack. I think that the only way to prevent
this would be to install it at or at least near the center. Otherwise,
it is not even a problem. Your Thule rack will hold your bike in at a
slant. Please, let me know if you solve this one. I considered bungy
cords or rope to pull the bike toward the center, but I guess I'll have
to live with it because I'm not about to re-install my attachments.

I do the same thing with my Yakima racks. I bungee them to the opposite side.
