If you had the chance to buy a Civic or another Civic, what model and year would everyone consider the best to go with and why?

I'm curious to see what year others vote for.

In my limited experience, I'd go with '89, because it's still running so well I haven't replaced the car! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

One of my friends still has his 89 as well ! His is doing wonderful. He said he will never replace a car that runs as great as his Civic does, and no car payments on a new car is always good as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) .

My 91' is still kicking. Wouldn't trade it for anything, but the new Civic Type-R. =)

Mine is 98 model and it just runs great. Never had any trouble till date with this model. I like it more than any other model but recently I went to the showroom to have a look at the recent models and they are just amazing. I could just have a test drive. I am not sure when would I buy new one but I am happy with the 98 model Honda civic.

I've never test driven a hybrid, but I'd really like the idea of being less dependent on gas in my next vehicle.

Has anyone here tried a hybrid Civic?

I haven't tried a Hybrid yet, but I definitely want to. I have thought about purchasing one at some point in the future (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) .
