I'd like to replace the ATF. The owner's manual recommands Honda Premium ATF. I wonder what is the difference between Premium ATF and ATF? Can I use ATF-Z1? Thanks!

ATF Z1 is Honda's current AT fluid. It replaces all previous Honda ATF's and will work just fine in your '97. I'd stick with Honda fluid as Honda tranmissions seem to be pretty finicky about ATF type.
