Does anyone have an auto-start feature on their CRV? If so what
brand, and have you had any problems with it interfereing with the rest
of the CRV electronics etc.

Any advice, comments are welcome

Thanks

I have had one on my CR-V for quite a while now. There have been ZERO
problems with the remote starter and ZERO problems with the CR-V. I
can't remember the brand on mine, but I know that nearly all brands will
work, just shop for the features you want. Mine has a 4 button remote -
one for starting, one for unlocking the doors, one for opening the
tailgate, and one for locking the doors. I find I use it often -
especially in the winter, which we have lots of right now. The CR-V has
been awesome and, quite simply, loves this weather!
Best advice I can offer is to deal with a reputable shop (the Honda
dealer here put me on to the retailer they use, and they happened to
also have the best pricing), and make sure you have a reasonable
warranty, and that the shop will cover their installation as well.
- Good luck! - Rod

Has anyone had any problems with the stock tires that come on the CR-V? I
think the US CR-v's come with the Bridgestone tires. Anyway, in the course
of two years, I have had two of the blow on me. The first was from running
something over, but the second that happened today was very odd. The entire
tire almost blew up and the tire was shredded.

Hopefully this has no correlation with the Firestone tires.

Thanks.
