In my CRV, the brake indicator turned on when I press the brake all the way down. Anyone experienced it?

This is an indication of low brake fluid level in the reservoir. This is most often due to worn out brake pads and you should look at that first. It's not a good idea to just fill up the reservoir without checking the brakes for wearing and the system for possible leaks.
