hi,

my parents just bought a 96 civic as an extra car
but it seems to have a slight oddity to it
when the car is has been sitting for a few hours
it will not start unless you put your seatbelt on
if the car is running and you turn it off then try again it will start seatbelt or not

my friend has a 95 civic and she has to turn the key halfway forward then put her seatbelt on then turn the key all the way forward and it will start so i think it is just a seatbelt precaution

i was just wondering if this is normal or not
