ok heres the deal. My honda passport is making a weird clicking or ticking noise that seems to be coming from inside the oil pan. It could also be the starter. Please let me know what you think

Try checking your rod bearings. Pull your plugs out, bring the cilender to the top then go by just enough to take the tension off the piston put screw driver down in the plug hole of said cilender and gently tap or push down on the cilender if it goes clunk or any noise of that sort its the rod bearings.
