I just bought a 90 Legend and it needs a little TLC. Most of the stuff I have figured out and done myself but I am lost and need help. Automatic Transmission S3 , S4 or Drive It does not matter what gear I am in. The car takes off like a bat outta hell. The problem is after the first shift (6k rpm) the tranny just goes back to normal pace. Other cars that I have had will keep going thru the gears at a high rate. Now if I am rolling down the highway and come up to a large hill the car has a hard time of climbing. Actually it does not even half to be a hill you can be rolling down the road, you punch the throttle, and NO PASSING gear will kick in. The car will accelerate but not with the V6 power I know it has. I have driven other Legends and have never experierenced this. I hope you can help me. Thank you, MG

Had a ver similar problem in my 89 model same exaxt symptoms i would highly reccomend that you clean your auto solonoids or have someone do it for you if you not mechanically minded go to the following site for instructions.
