To all who offered suggestions and encouragement a great big "thanks." I finally got the car done.?. I've done it enough now that it only took about 1 1/4 hours from point of jacking up the car to lowering the car to the surface again. (not bad for a musician, I think.) But, the car is smoking like a forest fire smoldering under a pile of wet leaves. I'm guessing that is normal with oil that shot from plug holes, etc. But I'm afraid to run the engine very long in case that isn't normal. I'll be watching for some more wonderful response. Thanks.
