8 inches of snow was no problem for my 1999 CR-V EX 5-Speed. Funny thing
the neighbor parked his Chevy Z-71 4x4 on the street instead of the
driveway, said "he was sliding around and didn't want to hit his gate" what
a hoot!!
The 235/60R-15 Yokohama Avid S/T's grip the snow really well, tonight will
be ice though.

pics to show the depth, thought he "V" rides ontop of the snow somewhat.

I am only guessing, but I think that your
pictures are showing a beautiful CR-V in 2 to 3 inches of snow. I think
everyone in Buffalo would beg to differ what a real dumping of snow is all about.

You should tell your neighbour with the Z-71
to buy some new tires or put the truck away if he can?t deal with that little
amount of snow!

The black spoiler looks great. I think you
mentioned what manufacturer the ?bush bar? was that you have. Could
you let us know again?

Outside the black hole
that is Toronto.

Sounds like you did good Saltman! Way to show off your V! We got maybe
4-5" here. I dont think anyone went to work today, the Interstates
overnight and this morning were disasters with numerous accidents due to
ice, in spite of the "30 trucks" (grin).

Couple questions though, does that size tire throw off the speedo at
all? Do you leave them on year-round?
Also, that spare tire cover is cool! It looks to me like the standard
Honda hard-cap, but I havent seen a Honda decal like that one? Where
did you get it?

Also, my friend Bill that bought the 02 should be joining this ML
shortly, y'all be nice to him! :-)

I second that question about the wheel cover. My spare is BARE (brrrrr) and I am looking for something nice like that. I think that the grey will go well with my blue 98 EX.

Naturally, South Carolina isn't Buffalo, and the pictures were taken hastily before going to work so ALL the snow was not available for the picture.
I drove 40 miles from work to home this morning at 7:00am (temperatures in the teens).  The snow had melted and then froze to almost a complete sheet of ice covering the highways - "black" ice as they call it.  I've driven in Cleveland in the dead of winter, lake effect snow etc.  I'll trade some of that EXTREMELY dangerous "black" ice any day.  South Carolina has minimal equipment to scrape roads and to throw a little dirt on inclines and bridges - NO SALT!! I saw TWO police vehicles crashed, Why?, that particular organization did not purchase snow tire/wheel change-outs in case of snow/ice. Many SC municipalities have snow tire/wheel packages for their Ford Crown Victorias the popular if not exclusive police vehicle.

It felt like the "V" was on skates and front wheel drive only was the best policy, in other words gentle driving to say the least.  Sun is out today, snow melting, but I'll stay in tonight for the below 20 temperatures and more "black" ice.

7 Foot of snow in Buffalo, sounds like Canada, but that is why I live in the south and it appears the move from the north to the south is increasing to include many large companies like BMW and Bridgestone which have already made the move.
