Has anybody had the 4WS light on! and the 4WS not working!. Please reply ifyou have found the fix. Thanks....

my 4WS light (1991 4th gen jap import 2.2 vtec) has come on a couple of times, it normally sorts itself out - it seems to depend on how I have parked ie. close to a kerb?? not sure why though........ a mate of mine had the same spec/age car as mine and his light was always on, he spent a lot of time trying to sort it out but couldn't in the end. i hope that wasn't too depressing - just thought i would pass on my experiences of 4WS....... DrC
