I have never owned a honda before. I'm looking at a 2007 Honda Odyssey, but many people have warned me about the high cost of servicing and repairing Honda. any advice please?

I own a 2005 honda Odyssey and its nice car. Servicing is relative. fuel economy is great. you'll enjoy your ride with Odyssey.

Just got our first Honda, 2007 Odyssey EXL. Have not been very satisfied with low speed / low throttle driving. Throttle and shifting not smooth. Don't know if it is just our car or missed it on test drive.

We bought our 2007 Odyssey EXL in may and haven't perceived a problem with the shifting in low speed, I usually don't notice when it shifts any gear. Don't have enough miles to know about cost of service and I plan on doing what I can myself just like I always have anyway. The reason we went with the Odyssey was the eighth passenger seat, and the power of the motor and shifting, and of course the deal we got. (29391.00) otd.

We are looking at possibly purchasing a 2007 Honda Odyssey from a dealer in the U.S. Since we are Canadians, the speedometer should be in kilometers, not miles. Is there some simple setting that would change the speedometer, or is more complex than that? Also wondering the same about the 2006 models. If anyone can answer this question, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Well designed, enjoyable to drive.

The Honda Odyssey might be the best minivan on the market. It's certainly one of the most enjoyable to drive, and it lives up to Honda's reputation for refinement, convenient features and great fit and finish. Its flexible seating system can accommodate up to eight passengers.

All Odyssey models are powered by a 244-horsepower V6 engine with a five-speed automatic transmission. Four trim levels make it affordable to a wider group of buyers, yet all deliver car-like ride and handling and a comprehensive set of safety features, including electronic stability control and side curtain airbags for head protection.
