There is only 2 things that I can think of. One is that the power steering belt isn't tight enough. Or you need to top up your power steering fluid.

This is happening to me.
I know it has something to do with the steering.
ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!

The sound is horrible.
When I come to a stop the front screetches.. when I reverse it screetches.. this is all when I am turning the wheel.
I need to get rid of it before it drives me totally mad!

I am going to investigate the fluid or the pump or the belt.
sounds expensive......

It may be the contacts for the electrical connections to the steering wheel need lubrication or replacement. You may have to remove the cover to lubricate or replace one .

Hi,

I have noticed that civic some time makes noise. I think you should refer to some mechanic because may be the problem is not big but with the passage of time this small problem can create a big loose. All vehicles are not same so I think you should go to mechanic to solve this problem.
