I have a 2004 HOnda accord ex couple with a navi and its automatic. first of my car keeps asking me for a code, then my doors dont open up when i press the key i have to manually unlock the door and to top it off today i tried to open my passanger door and it is totally jammed up. I would take it to the dealer but i dont have much money to spend right know so if you guys can help me figuring out what it might be that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all

New battery for the key. Or sadly if it's under warranty take it to a dealership have it communicate with the system under the hood. or take it and have labor money ready.

Try taking the door apart and looking at the situation before going to the dealer that you might not need. Takes a few seconds to remove and could save you a couple bucks.

Sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere that is causing the entire electrical system to lose power. Most likely it is a grounding wire to the frame. I've had these go bad on several cars and all sorts of problems result. I don't know how comfortable you are working with electronic things but it wouldn't hurt to have a go at tightening the underhood battery cables and such.

There are relatively few things you have to go to the dealer specifically for (the dealer is expensive and not necessarily better than other options). A local mechanic may be cheaper, or better still, a friend who has some electrical or mechanical aptitude.

It does sound like the problem is electrical. Going to the dealer will cost too much money. Trying to find a serviceman that could do it for less. Some people have friends who know eletronics, and that's what you need. Usually a mechanic know somebody who does that. Ask for a estimate up front before you do anything. If it's too much go somewhere else.
