Hi List,

Somebody from the Edmunds.com Honda CRV Discussion Board posted this in Dec 5, 2001:

"Just bought the 2002 CRV LX - I've noticed that the front doors need to be pulled pretty hard to fully close, the rear doors seem to latch easier".

This is exactly what I have noticed with the driver's and front passenger side door.  It sure does need a little push; not much but enough to get my attention.  I tried this on my next-door neighbor's 2003 EX-L and it closed with very little force/pressure.  I noticed on my CRV that a segment of the upper window frame is not level with the car's frame and sits deeper.  I also noticed this on the passenger side.  My neighbor's doesn't exhibit this.  My theory is that when closing, the curved/bent/warped (or whatever)  portion would hit first and bounce the door if extra pressure is not applied.  This is not a show stopper for me but I'm just wondering if somebody  had this problem and what they did to resolve this.

Thanks,

George
