Thanks to those who send positive feedback on my last post. My CR-V
is 5 days old and I now have 560 miles on it. Latest mileage was
23+. Not a bad breakin mileage. Most, about 3/4 of mileage was on
interstate often at 85-90.

First a complaint:
They have replaced "4th pedal" with a flat area on mat. "4th pedal"
is where you rest you left foot when driving. Thinking of cutting a
piece of 4x4 on an angle to provide support. Especially will need
for autocrossing.....Just kidding.

The odometer has a bonus. 1st it is digital, and besides the
odometer it has 2 independent resettable trip odometers. I always
wanted to keep track of a trip but did not want to mess up my gas
mileage check. Now I have both worlds. Far out.....Oops I am
showing my age.

I earlier said the brakes were a bit mushy. They seems to have
seated and work extremely fine now.

I love the sun/moonroof. My 97 had a pop up. No comparison. This
is awesome.

I have created an Album of my EX at the CR-V YahooGroups site. It
was fairly easy to do and I encourage others to do the same. I think
you will especially enjoy the shots of the wood dash. About $148.00
from H and A. BTW the roof rack is simple to install. My dealer
wanted $400.00+

Have removed rear taillight lens housing and lo and behold there is a
circle molded in the bottom of the housing, below b/u lights. It is
perfect for adding a socket for towing behind motorhome. Will report
more on this after installation.

Well that's my 2 cents worth. Still hoping to wire fog lights to
work whenever tail lights on.

I found them on http://photos.Yahoo.com/bc/terryljohnson.

Did your EX come with the "H" insert in the center of the spare (see
photo number 4)? Mine only had styrofoam.

I bought the "H" insert Hub Cap for center of spare from H and A
Accessories. It cost about $24.00. You need to eMail them for part
number as it is not in their on line catalog. They are at:
http://www.handa-accessories.com/

Interesting there have been a few posts inquiring as to the round
black styrofoam thing, often found in the cup holder. I found mine
in the center of the spare when I removed the cover. Appparently
some mechanics remove it and put it in the console area.

Photos of my Silver EX are at:

Tomorrow I plan to make a 4th pedal out of a 4" X 4" cut on an angle.
