My 2002 CR-V has been at the dealer for about 10 days now - the A/C
compressor clutch just burned up! Evidently they don't have that
part in stock yet.

Any one else had problems with this?

Dealer says there are two other CR-V's in the shop w/ the exact same
issue now - ALL still waiting for parts - it has been THREE WEEKS for
me now.......

I know I am a year later but my 02 just got diagnosed with this
problem. 6 hours into a 22 hour road trip I noticed I had no cool
air. No other symptoms. At 9 hours into the ride I stopped at a
dealership that was right off the highway. They claimed they could
get the part, but it would be 3 days...and I couldn't wait. I got
home and took it to my dealership and my service department mentioned
it was a 'common' V issue and the part was on a 3 week back order.
It is nice to see a year later they are still dragging their feet! I
really expect more out of Honda. They have given me a loaner, but it
is the Element, and I really do not like it. Well, let me know if
your a/c is still working so I know what to be prepared for. Thanks.
