I bouth a 2001 crv last year new and it has 17,000 miles on it. I
traded my 2000 jetta in for it bec I had a horrible experience the
Volks.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Anyway, I got the crv with the leather seats. The
driver's seat makes a creaking noise when making right turns. Anyone
experiencing this.

I'm taking my car in for the 15,000 mile service. How do you thing
they will handle this? This noise is really annoying! Thanks...

i have a 2001 crv too....

but double check to see where the creaking noise is
coming from....it is very common in the crv's....

mine is coming from within the doors.....

adjust the two round black rubber stops on the inside
of the doors - they help to keep the door in its place
when closed....just rotate counter clockwise so it
comes out a little so that it holds together better...

Thanks,

Nice tip. Today my crv it for the 15,000 check up at Courtesy Honda
in Memphis, TN and paid 138.00 for the checkup. Anway, they couldn't
fix the creak noise when I turn right. They had to order the seat
mounting brackets and I have to go back and get it replaced.

Yea, when I start and stop, I too have noise coming in the cracks in
the door. This did the same thing on my 2000 jetta. I had SO many
problems with the Jetta I traded it for the 2001 crv. I was sorta
sad when I saw the 2002 in the showroom today. A lot is the same. I
like the way the doors close...thump.. chow....
