Ok i have like a HUGE ass question about Models of 1st gen engines. i have 3 Engines in my possesion as i am writing this. <br><br>1st one is my Stock one that was in the car its a EW3 Engine.<br><br>2nd was the POS engine i got from a junkyard(Which i was told by a friend of the family it was a GOOD ENGINE), It was trashed BUT i got my money back in full and kept it any how. I have been using it to put parts on the Next engine, the Engine code is a D15A!! I would like to know WHERE this engine came from,Carwise/Year also!! The engine is destroyed, The rings and pistons are shot.<br><br>3rd is the Rebuilt JASPER Engine i got last week. It came with JUST a Block and a Head no Intake,Valve cover, oil pan, and Intake(Along with OTHER varous things i took from the D15A that WEREN'T in bad shape) The Engine Code is EW1<br><br>Could some one explain the Differences for me for all of these engines. I MIGHT have my CRX back on the road by this weekend, all i have left is the Intake, some hoses and Flywheel/Clutch And i am DONE!!<br><br>ITs been closed to 2 months WITHOUT my Rex and i am just plain PISSED, I decided to do all the stuff to the rebuilt engine myself to save money, i am hopin this friday to get the REbuilt engine and REbuilt tranny back in and get er back runnin again. <br><br>Comments NEEDED

The EW1 is the dx version of the 1.5L. I'm not sure what the differences are other than the dx is a carb engine and you could get it with an auto trans.

OK as far as i know all i got was the Block and head, So its basicly the Same engine as the Si. Cause i am putting the Fuel Injected SI intake on to it. Would there be any difference if i did this, Will it even Work. Cause the EW1 And EW3 are the same looking engines. Even D15A looked the same BUT the block looked a little bigger. Right now i jsut want my Damn car back!!
