Hello, I've got a 1993 Vigor that I need an engine for. The "short story" is... wife driving more miles than I realized and I hadn't kept up with oil change so... at 118k miles the rods/main bearings start knocking and I think the engine is toast. I don't know how to tear it apart myself even if it was "fixable" so, I figure I should just find another 2.5 and get it changed out. Any advice or ideas? I'd love to hear about them. I live in the Nashville, TN area and I've already found some engines from "bone yards" available around here. Any advice on choosing engines? Is it possible to use a newer 2.5 from a TL?? I would love to find some TL engine w/30k miles on it - woohoo!! I appreciate any and all help and advice - if there is a better place to ask this, let me know. Thanks for now, Bubba
