You ca nreplace the woofers in the system, but
this requires surgery to the housing if you are going
to retain the amps on each woofer...if you want to
keep the factory radio, and change the speakers this
is one option, another is ordering an amp bypass
from somewhere like Crutchfiled...this allows you to
utilize factory radio, and you can upgrade speakers to
higher powered ones that can be either run off an
external amp, (best option), or the radio's. Best other
bet is to replace the entire system...not too
expensive..mine sounds wonderful....make sure that you use a four
channel for the internal highs (6 speakers - 2 tweeters
by sunroof, 4 6 x 9's), then get an amplified sub
(i.e. Bazooka) or a set of subs (2 10" subs work great,
along with a dedicated crossover for the amp running
subs).<br><br>Note, the 2 tweeters in the ceiling are tied into the
front speaker's wiring, so you don't have to go
searching for the extra wires....:)<br><br>Let me know if
