Gemini,
I just recently had a '87 Honda
Prelude stolen and I was looking to replace it. My
mechanic only deals with honda, toyotas, and nissans -
including their upscale brothers. I have used this mechanic
for about ten years and would never consider buying a
car that he would not work on.

When I asked
him to keep an eye out for a medium age accord,
prelude or civic he asked me if he could make a
suggestion. I said sure and he suggested that I look for an
'87 to '93 Acura.

I asked why and he said the
engines and transmission are like iron. He said an
earlier model would be good also, but not to worry about
miles with these cars.

I listened to him and
picked up an immaculant '91 Acura Legend LS black/black
interior. I absolutely love the car, and when I brought in
to my mechanic to check out he couldn't believe what
good shape the car was in.

I have taken friends
of mine for a ride in it, but I have to let them
drive the car to appreciate how tight the car is. None
of my friends can believe that a car ten years old
can be so fresh.
