I started up my legend and backed it out of the garage today and noticed i was leaving a small line of oil on the ground behind me. Obviously this is quite disheartening. I will take it in to my garage for a checkup asap but am hoping for something easy and cheap. Worse case i am thinking head gasket, best case maybe a frost plug or a leaky sensor. Keeping my fingers crossed...... any insight from other owners.

when the oil was changed last, did you or the shop you took it ot replace the crush washer in the oil pan drain plug?<br>simple $0.75 fix.<br><br>If your head gasket was gone, you'd look for foam in your oil, or any discoloration other than a nice tan to black (depending on your maintenance habits).<br><br>Also, your coolant may show some signs of crud in it....<br><br>HG can run you from 1.5 -3k...be careful what you wish for :)

Did you check the oil drain screw? It might be as simple as that which you can just tighten yourself.<br><br>Later
