Got a problem with the cruise on '91 Accord. It will not turn off!!!!! When you tap the brakes, clutch, or push the on/off button, the light in the cluster goes out but the car continues to hold speed like the gas pedal is stuck. I have to press the brakes pretty hard to slow the car which slows the engine and eventually the cruise turns off. Anybody ever experience this? To say the least, it was an exciting ride the first time this happened.

This happened to me once, Called a the dealer and he said it could be the cable onthe cruise control was to tight. When lossened it didnt do it but it might help you i ended up replaceing the crusie control located under the dash ont he drivers side its bolted to the right side when laying on your back under the dash its a silver box. hope this helps,
