I have a 1991 Acura Legend LS and I love it but I have some problems with it that might cost more than I am willing to spend. The first problem that has been happening since the day I went with my dad to test-drive it at the dealership is the alb (anti-lock brake) light. This light comes on after a couple of minutes of driving. I checked many sites and found what I thought was the answer to my problems at the Legend Temple. They said to simply fill up the brake fluid which I noticed was nearly empty. Now I have to fill up the brake fluid reservoir weekly and the brake fluid light still appears regardless. My dad took the car to the dealership and they say that the brake fluid accumulator leaks and I have been told that it will cost between $2000 and $4000 Canadian. I don't think anyone is willing to pay so much. The second problem is not as bad. Whenever I open the locks from the driver's side, the alarm goes off. I have been told that the door actuator is faulty and it is a $500 repair. I don't want to spend that much money. I am wondering if I should deactivate the abs system and if so, how. I also want to deactivate the factory alarm system but I don't know how to do either one. So if anyone has a solution or recommendation for this problem, please post a message or e-mail me at simgarcha@... <br>P.S. I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada so if you know any mechanic that can solve these problems reasonably cheap, please tell me, thanks and hi to all you legend fanatics out there!!!!!!!!!
