I have a problem that just started. The idle goes from fast to slow..but the check engine light does not come on. Changed the fuel filter, cleaned the injectors, blew out the engine, and it stopped. Turned the engine off, then started it again..and the same problem was back. What sensor is located next to the O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold. I am guessing the O2 sensor ha the green on it? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It's posible it the idle problem could be fast Idle valve or Electronic Air control valve. Just had to replace both on my daughters car. I would change these as a last resort though they are a little expensive

Hey, I'm pretty new here..Just signed up actually, But about 2 months ago I was having the same problem... With mine it was the intake manifold gaskets that had to be replaced..Took me and my buddy a couple days to get it done..But sure enough the idle was back to normal.
