Drives: 2000 Accord coupe
I just bought an 88 accord EX. Seems to run OK on the road but starts hard and idles less then ideally. I also believe it is a prelude engine. There is a check engine light on and I plan to pull the codes this week. Just looking for someplace to start. Thanks.

There are really too many things that could cause this.. At a guess I would say its the o2 sensor.. I have even seen very bad gas cause a CEL , maybe you can treat the gas. How did you make out?
