I recently purchased a used 04 Odyssey for my wife. She had complained about not being able to see the time after dark. When I checked it, the OEM clock is not illuminated. It is the same display type as the odometer and radio display (the digital type) which has internal illumination as opposed to those lit with a bulb behind the device.

The clock is located in the upper center dash area. It it part of a small panel which includes the emergency flasher button as well. Three questions: 1.) Is the clock designed to be illuminated? 2.) If so, is it possible to repair? and 3.) How is this small panel containing the clock removed in order to be replaced?

I appreciate any assistance on this.
