I own a 99' acura TL 3.2. I have the same problem. I get no noise, but it vibrates. Sometimes it vibrates so bad that I have to take my hands of the steering wheel. I have brought this situaton to the acura service (dealer). The don't want to aknowlege this problem. They said that there is nothing they can do about it. BS. I might go try in another dealer. See if I get lucky enough to at least check it and tell me what it is. I don't think is the transmission. Now that I read your message that might be it. I want to know if we have the same problem. Let me ask you this. When I'm in idle the car is vibrating. If I turn off the A/C the vibration comes down, not all. Let me know if this happens to you. I might go to another dealership to try and see if the would at least check it. I'll let you know how it went. Please reply to my e-mail address Bitium@.... Thanks

I have a 1994 legend with the same problem, I asked the dealer about it and they proposed a $450.00 fix composed of replacing all of the transmission mounts. The dealer suggested letting it go, has no really poor effect on the car, just anoying. I just put the car in neutral if it gets bad.

I went to the dealer last friday. The mechanic checked the car and found nothing. He implies that the vibration is normal. My car now has 42,000 miles. My wanranty is over at 50,000. I'm sure they will find the problem if I take the car after my waranty is over. I think they know what's wrong but it's too costly and the car still performs fine. Why would they fix something that is just anoying. I'm going back this saturday with your and other replies printed on paper to show them that there is a problem, and they should fix it. If that doesn't work then I going have to get it check out by someone else. I'll let you know how it went.
