We have a '97 4dr EX with 160K miles on it. It runs really great, we have no mecahanical issues at this time. The problem is the paint.
The clear coat and paint on the trunk, top, tops of the rear fenders, and rear doors is fading really bad. It the Champange color. I have heard of other '97 and '98 doing this. Is this a common problem. Is there any fix for it? Or must I have it repainted?
We did not buy the car new, it had 75K on it we we got it. We plan on trying for at 200K, but would like it to look a little nicer.
