Just curious if any other '02 owners with fog lights can confirm that
their optional fog/driving lights turn off when you change to high
beams. That seems kind of odd to me. Or I may have screwed
something up when I installed them. thanks, Larry

By design the fags only work with the low beams on.
Auto lighting laws are a state issue, not a federal one, but most
states adopt a common standard.
Many states do not allow driving with the park light on without the
headights. This would preclude the need for fogs without headlights.
Since fog lights are for FOG, then you shouldnot need the high beams.
And so the logic goes in our over regulated country.
IF you want the fog lights to work RIGHT, look up my modification on

You might have to sign in, but it should be free.

P.S. my description of RIGHT may violate some state and local
automotive lighting laws, and is not recommended or endorced by me
this site or your chruch! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks N-Jay. I have to go search for my failure to reconnect my A/C
anyway(any idea which wire that is?) after I installed them the factory way,
so I may make this mod. I like the fogs because they light up the sides
better, for kids, dogs, deer, drunks, all those things. thanks again,
Larry
